Anchorage City Hall
The facility is a keystone of the Municipal Core within the Central Business District and was selected unanimously by the assembly as the most appropriate solution for the seat of City Government.
During the execution of the development, the team was responsible for identifying and securing five temporary sites for Municipal government during the renovation process. The requirements for site selections were extensive and necessitated maintaining seamless government operations.
This project included completing the renovation of the facility for a lump sum price under a design/build contract. The exterior and interior of the building were re-designed to reflect the unique luminescent colors and natural forms of our State.
The facility is owned by a Venture-controlled special purpose entity that leases the facility to the Municipality of Anchorage.
